ISB is seeking a Pedagogue/Pædagog/Pædagogmedhjælper for our Primary After School Club for students aged 6-11 per

ISB Afterschool Club is offered for P1-P5 and runs from 14:00 to 17:00 (16:00 on Fridays). The typical schedule is snack, followed by time outdoors, and then optional activities and free-play, both in and outside.

We are looking for a new colleague with strong relationship skills who can:

• Supervise and engage with children aged 6-11 in a safe, playful and supportive environment.

• Plan and lead age-appropriate creative and playful activities and games to promote social, emotional and physical development.

• Collaborate with colleagues and engage positively and proactively with students and parents.

• Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on students’ well-being in Afterschool Club

• Help to foster a safe and secure environment that promotes inclusivity, respectful behaviour and positive relationships among students

Qualifications:

• Pædagoguddannelse / teacher or pedagogue education or equivalent

• Pædagogmedhjælper - experience or a desire to gain this experience

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work independently with a group of children, as well as part of a team

• Ability to maintain positive and professional attitude and behavior in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment

• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities and games
