Inspire through Play: Become the Leader of After School Club at International School of Billund
Are you a passionate pedagogue with a natural flair for leadership? Do you want to guide children’s learning through PLAY, foster creativity and build meaningful relationships?
At International School of Billund (ISB), we’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic Leader for our Primary After School Club (ASC) – a space where children ages 6-11 can explore, connect and thrive.
At ISB, we place PLAY at the heart of learning – and as our ASC Leader, you'll play a key role in keeping the spirit of PLAY alive!
IS THIS YOU!
- A qualified pedagogue with leadership experience – ideally in a pedagogical or school setting
- Creative, cheerful and outgoing, with a passion for nurturing children’s growth
- A leader with the ability to inspire a diverse team while fostering kindness and inclusion
- Have knowledge of child development, creative programming, and age-appropriate activities
- Fluent in English with strong communication, organisational and time-management skills

As the ASC Leader, you'll:
- Plan, lead, and oversee activities that promote students’ social, emotional, and physical growth
- Foster a culture of respect, inclusion and positive behaviour, helping students build supportive friendships
- Collaborate with ISB’s leadership to align ASC goals with our play-based learning vision
- Create a safe, inclusive space for children to express themselves freely and grow confidently
- Build meaningful connections with students, parents and colleagues, fostering a collaborative community
- Lead and develop a skilled team, promoting professional growth and high-quality care
- Ensure smooth transitions for children joining ASC and maintain strong communication with families and school staff.
- Uphold ISB’s standards for inclusivity, creativity and quality while contributing to school-wide goals
- Support the primary school team during school hours and prepare ASC programming, team meetings, and well-being initiatives.

- A Full-Time Position: 37-hours – starting 1 April 2025, with ASC hours with students from 14:00-17:00 (16:00 on Fridays), and prep, meeting and support time prior to this
