Are you an adventurous, engaging pedagogue with a passion for inspiring children?
At International School of Billund (ISB), we’re looking for a pedagogue to join our Primary After School Club (ASC), where students aged 6-11 explore, play and grow!
At ISB, we put PLAY at the heart of everything we do, and as part of our team you'll help bring that spirit to life every day.
YOUR CLASSROOM OF PLAY
Welcome a day of exploration, imagination and development!
As our new ASC colleague you'll:
- Engage and Support: Supervise students aged 6-11 in a safe, playful environment where every child feels valued
- Create and Lead: Plan and lead exciting, age-appropriate activities that promote students’ social, emotional, and physical growth
- Collaborate: Work as part of a creative and inclusive team, ensuring a dynamic and engaging ASC experience
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with students, parents and colleagues, keeping communication open and proactive
- Foster Respect: Contribute to a safe, inclusive environment where respect and positive behavior thrive
IS THIS YOU?
- You have a recognised pedagogical or teaching education or equivalent qualification with a genuine passion for working with children
- Strong organisational and time management skills, balancing fun with structure
- A cheerful, outgoing, and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently when needed
- Knowledge of child development and experience with age-appropriate activities and games that support learning through play
- A professional demeanour, with the ability to maintain composure and adapt in a fast-paced environment

A permanent position: 25 hours per week, starting 1 January 2025. Working hours from 14:00-17:00 (16:00 on Fridays) with students. Prep, meetings, support and Playground Supervision will be placed prior to 14:00
